INTRODUCTION

Wesley the Anglican had its origin in a paper read by the author before a group of professors and students at the General Theological Seminary (Protestant Episcopal), New York. There was a unanimous feeling on the part of all present, that the subject had been so uniquely and suggestively treated that the paper should be expanded and published in book form. Acting upon this request the author expanded the paper into this book.
