PSALM XLIII. 1 Judge and defend my cause, O Lord, From wicked and deceitful men, 2 For of my strength thou art the God, 3 O Lord, send out thy light and truth, 4 Then shall I to thy altar go, PSALM LI. 1 Make new my heart within my breast, And frame it to thy holy will; And let thy spirit in me rest, Which may my soul with comfort fill. 2 Cast me not, Lord, out from thy sight, 3 Restore me to those joys again, Which I was wont in thee to find; Let me thy free Spirit retain, Which unto thee may draw my mind. 4 Thus when I shall thy mercies know, PSALM LVI. 1 I glory in the word of God, ; With joy I will declare abroad, 2 I Trust in God the Lord, and say, The Lord he is my help and stay, 3 I will perform with heart most free, 4 My soul from death thou dost defend, And keep'st my feet upright; That I before thee may ascend, 4 These birds full nigh thy altar may To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, PSALM XCI. 1 He that within the sacred place 2 Thou art my hope and my strong hold, My whole affiance stay. 3 He shall defend thee from the snare, The which the hunter laid; And from the deadly plague and care, 4 And with his wings shall cover thee, And keep thee safely there: His faith and truth thy fence shall be, To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, As was, and is, and shall be still, PSALM C. 1 All people that on earth do dwell, 2 The Lord, ye know, is God indeed; And for his sheep he doth us take. 3 O enter then his gates with praise; For why? the Lord our God is good; Praise God from whom all blessings flow; |
