THE WRITER of this Course of Instruction would venture to hint(a) That his work will not be found suitable for the teaching of
classes of very young children. (6) That it will only be helpful to teachers who make a diligent study
of their lessons.
He would also acknowledge his indebtedness, at every stage of his work(a) To many books, especially those of Miss Wordsworth, on parts
of the Catechism ; to the works of Bishops Pearson and Harold Browne; and of Dean Farrar and Canon Mason.
