That once perfum'd Hymettus' side,
No hoarded sw ets of Grecian store
Did e'er the Attic bee provide,
That could a purer flavor yield,

Than yields the comb this hive contains,
Though cull'd from no Hesperian fields,
But the wild growth of Britain's plains.
