WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11, 1871.

The twenty-fourth annual session of the legislature of the State of Wisconsin began on the second Wednesday in January, the 11th day of said month, A. D. 1871.

At 12 o'clock M., of said day, the assembly was called to order by Ephraim W. Young, chief clerk of the assembly at the twentythird annual session thereof, and a list of the members elect as certified to by the secretary of state, was then read as follows:

List of the Members of Assembly of the State of Wisconsin, elected at a special election held on the 31st day of December, 1870.

I, Ll. Breeze, Secretary of State of the State of Wisconsin, dɔ hereby certify that the foregoing is a correct list of Members of Assembly of the State of Wisconsin, elected at a special election held on the 31st day of December, 1870, as appears from the certificate of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisers of the county in which such special election was held, which certificate is now on file in this office.
