LITTLE CIGAR ACT OF 1973 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That this Act may be cited as the "Little Cigar Act of 1973". 15 U.S.C. 1832 nt SEC. 2. Section 3 of the Federal Cigarette Labeling and 15 U.S.C. 1832 Advertising Act (15 U.S.C. 1331-1340) as amended by the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act of 1969 is amended by inserting the following new subsection: "(7) The term 'little cigar' means any roll of tobacco wrapped in leaf tobacco or any substance containing tobacco (other than any roll of tobacco which is a cigarette within the meaning of subsection (1)) and as to which one thousand units weigh not more than three pounds." SEC. 3. Section 6 of the Federal Cigarette Labeling and 15 U.S.C. 1335 Advertising Act (15 U.S.C. 1331-1340) as amended by the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act of 1969 is amended by inserting the words "and little cigars” after the word "cigarettes". SEC. 4. The amendment made by this Act shall become 15 U.S.C. effective thirty days after the date of enactment.
