THAT day of wrath, that dreadful day,
When heaven and earth shall pass away,
What power shall be the sinner's stay?
How shall he meet that dreadful day?

When shrivelling like a parched scroll,
The flaming heavens together roll,
When louder yet, and yet more dread,
Swells the high trump that wakes the dead?

Oh, on that day, that wrathful day,
When man to judgment wakes from clay,
Be thou the trembling sinner's stay,
Though heaven and earth shall pass away.

NOT unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory. The Lord hath been mindful of us, and he will bless us; he will bless them that fear his name, both great and small. All the whole heavens are the Lord's; the earth hath he given to the children of men. The dead praise not thee, O Lord, neither they that go down into silence. But we will praise the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
