Resolved, (the House concurring,) That the secretary of the Senate, and the clerk of the House of Representatives, be and are hereby authorized and requested to compile and prepare for publication, and make indexes and superintend the publication of the journals and d cuments of the present session of the legislature, and when done and certified to by the Secre tary of the State they shall be entitled to receive for said services the sum of fifteen dollars each. Approved May 10, 1861. [ No. 1.] JOINT RESOLUTION relative to the printing of the journals, documents, and acts of the extra session of the legislature, for the year 1861. 1. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Michigan, That the journals and documents of the extra session of the legislature, for the year 1861, be published and bound under the direction of the secretary of the Senate and clerk of the House, and that the same be bound with the journals of the regular session of the same year, and that the journal of the House be bound in two volumes. 2. Resolved, That the acts and joint resolutions passed at this extra session be published with the session laws of the regular session for the year 1861, and in the style of the State binding for the year 1859. 3.
