We pour our ardent prayers; Our comforts and our cares. 3 We share our mutual woes, Our mutual burdens bear; The sympathizing tear. It gives us mutual pain; And hope to meet again. 5 This glorious hope revives Our courage by the way; While each in expectation lives, And longs to see the day. 6 From sorrow, toil, and pain, From sin, we shall be free; Through all eternity. 276 C. When the saints together meet, When the Saviour is the theme, When they join to sing of him. 2 Sing we then eternal love, Such as did the Father move : Loved the world—and gave his Son. 3 Sing the Son's amazing love ; How he left the realms above, Lived and died to save our race. 4 Sing we too the Spirit's love: With our wretched hearts he strovė, Brought the precious Saviour near. 5 Sweet the place-exceeding sweet, Where the saints in glory meet; C.
