And Bulwarks of our Land. 3 A Refuge in Distress; Through all her Palaces ! 4 When Kings against her join’d, And saw the Lord was there; In wild Gonfusion of the Mind They fled with trembling Fear. Attempt to spoil our Peace; And sinks them in the Seas. 6 Oft have our Fathers told, Our Eyes have often feen, Where his own Sheep have been. In ev'ry new Distrefs We'll to his House repair; And seek Deliy'rance there. 8 FAR as thy Name is known The World declares thy Praise ; Their Songs of Honour raise. 9 With Joy let Judah stand On Sion's cholen Hill; And Counsels of thy Will. 10 Let Strangers walk around The City where we dwell, And mark the Building well.
