DiDomenico has enjoyed writing since she was a child. Throughout her life, she has filled numerous journals, and the tragic events of Sept. 11, which she witnessed from her office window in New York, inspired her to pull them out and revisit her thoughts. In the process, she realized her need to publish her work. DiDomenico has received an Editors Choice Award for her poem, That day in Sept., which was published in a book titled, Inscriptions in Time. She enrolled in a course with LongridgeWritersGroup, where she gained the insight and courage to complete Rainy Day Poems and More, her first book.
