WHITTELSEY (or to his care), Brick Church Chapel, New York. It is very desirable that we should have a local Agent for this Magazine in every city and town in the United States. As it is impracticable for us to make selection of such persons as may be most acceptable to all concerned, we propose that Maternal Associations, or any collection of Mothers, in places where we have no such Agent, select for themselves one in whom they will feel entire confidence, and who will receive their names and payments as subscribers, and transmit the same to us, free of postage and other charges. No person is authorized to act as a local or traveling Agent for this Magazine, except as above suggested, without having a commission for that purpose, duly executed by the undersigned. We shall announce the names of our Agents in a future number. TO POSTMASTERS. Postmasters are authorized by law to transmit subscriptions free of expense. The official duties of many Postmasters occupy but little of their time. of office, in many cases, are very limited in amount. We shall be happy to hear from such as will act for us. TO BOOKSELLERS AND BOOK AGENTS. A liberal commission will be paid to Booksellers and Book Agents, who will obtain for us ten or more subscribers. Packages can be sent monthly, by express or other agencies, to almost every part of the country, at a very moderate expense.
