And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. CCXXXIV. The sentences of Cursing. 1. Cursed is the man that maketh any carved or molten image, to worship it. Amen. Deut. xxvii. 15.

2. Cursed is he that curseth his father or mother. Amen. Deut. xxvii. 16. 3. Cursed is he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. Amen. Deut. xxvii. 17. 4. Cursed is he that maketh the blind to go out of his way. Amen. Deut. xxvii, 18.

5. Cursed is he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, the fatherless, and widow. Amen. Deut. xxvii. 19. 6. Cursed is he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. Amen. Deut. xxvii. 24. 7. Cursed is he that lieth with his neighbour's wife. Amen. Lev, xx. 10. 8. Cursed is he that taketh reward to slay the innocent. Amen. Deut. xxvii. 25.

9. Cursed is he that putteth his trust in man, and taketh man for his desence, and in his heart goeth from the Lord. Amen. Jer. xvii. 5.

10. Cursed are the unmerciful, fornicators, and adulterers, covetous persoas, idolaters, slanderers, drunkards, and extortioners. Amen. Si. Matt. Ixv. 41. - 1 Cor. vi. 9. 10.
