5 My God, how excellent thy grace,
Whence all our hope and comfort springs;
HYMN 243. L. M.
My daily labor to pursue;
In all I think, or speak, or do.
Whose eyes my inmost substance see;
And offer all my works to thee.
And every moment watch and pray;
And hasten to thy glorious day.
Whate'er thy bounteous grace hath given:
HYMN 244. C. M. (311)
And glad to act my part,
And with a single heart.
In all things thee I see;
I do it unto thee.
He views with gracious eyes ;
4 Stamp'd with an infinite desert,
My work he then shall own;
HYMN 245. S. M.
I shall be well supplied;
What can I want beside? 2 He leads me to the place,
Where heavenly pasture grows; Where living waters gently pass,
And full salvation flows. 3 If e'er I go astray,
He doth my soul reclaim;
For his most holy name. 4 While he affords his aid, I cannot yield to fear;

HYMN 246. C. M. SOON as I heard my Father say,
“Ye children, seek my grace," My heart replied without delay,
“I'll seek my Father's face.”
Nor frown my soul away;
In a distressing day.
Leave me to want, or die,
And all my need supply.
4 Wait on the Lord, ye trembling saints,
And trust, still fearing nought;
And far exceed your thought.
HYMN 247. 11s.
HOW firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,
3 "Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed, For I am thy God, and will still give thee aid; I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee
to stand, Upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand. 4 "When thro' the deep waters I call thee

of the field ?
HYMN 249. S. M.
And ways into his hands,
Who earth and heaven commands.
2 Who points the clouds their course,
Whom winds and seas obey;
He shall prepare thy way.
So safe shalt thou go on;
So shall thy work be done.
By self-consuming care;
Attends the softest prayer.
Father, thy ceaseless love,
What best for each will prove. 6 Thou every where hast sway,
And all things serve thy might; Thy every act pure blessing is,
Thy path, unsullied light. 7 When thou arisest, Lord,
What shall thy work withstand ? Whate'er thy children want, thou giv'st; And who shall stay thy hand ?
HYMN 250. L. M. THE tempter to my soul hath said,
“There is no help in God for thee :" Lord, lift thou up thy servant's head,
My glory, shield and solace be.
He heard me from his holy hill;
He beckoned, and the winds were still.
