Henry Somerville was one of the earliest and most active workers for the Catholic Social Guild, and in 1947 he was named a Knight Commander of St. Gregory of His Holiness Pope Pius XII. He is the author of "Britain's Economic Illness," "The Catholic Social Movement," and "Civics: A Manual for Schools." Paul Misner, PhD is professor emeritus of theology at Marquette University and the author of" Papacy and Development: Newman and the Primacy of the Pope "and "Social Catholicism in Europe: From the Onset of Industrialization to the First World War.
