Invitation to the worship of God our creator, preferver, and deliverer. I LET us with a gladsome mind 2 Let us found his name abroad, For he is of gods the God, And his mercies, &c. 3 He by wisdom did create Heaven above in all its ftate, And his mercies, &c. 4 Earth beneath he did ordain To confine the unruly main, And his mercies, &c. 5 He, by his commanding might, 6 All his creatures he doth feed, His full hand fupplies their need, 7 He, with watchful pitying eye, Helps us in our mifery, For his mercies, &c. The incomparable goodness and greatness of God. I YE fervants of the eternal King, Since all are bless'd, let all adore. 2 O'er all the earth the Lord doth reign, And heaven is too narrow to contain His glories which are infinite. Let not poor borrow'd greatnefs dare Who dwells in uncreated light. PSALM III. The incomparable greatnefs of God. 1 YE faints and fervants of the Lord, Due praise to his great name addrefs. 2 God thro' the world extends his fway, The regions of eternal day But fhadows of his glory are. With him whofe majefty excels, Who made the heaven in which he dwells, Let no created power compare. PSALM IV.. The glory of God in his works. P. T. I GREAT GOD, the heaven's well-order'd frame Declares the glories of thy name; There There thy rich works of wonder fhine; Of boundless power and skill divine! 2 From night to day, from day to night,. Lectures of heavenly wifdom read; 3 Yet their divine inftructions run 4 And reafon lends to both a voice.. The fun in radiant fplendors drest, Breaks from the chambers of the east, Rolls round, and makes the earth rejoice..
