That the commissioners appointed from Saunders county to locate said state road, (except that the name of Thompson Bissel, be substituted for Moses Stocking,) and the county commissioners of Douglas county or a majority of them, shall have power to determine the kind and cost of said bridge or bridges across said Platte river, and the several channels thereof, and to contract for the construction of the same, and their certificate of the estimated cost of said bridge or bridges filed with the county commissioners of said Douglas county shall be sufficient warrant for the levying by said county commissioners of said Douglas county, of the special tax provided for in section three of this act, and that the further certificate of said commissioners of the final completion of said bridge or bridges, and of the performance upon the part of the contractor or contractors of his or their contract for the construction of said bridge or bridges, filed with the county commissioners of said counties of Saunders and Douglas, shall be a sufficient warrant to the said county commissioners of said counties, for the delivery of said bonds upon the part of the said precincts in Saunders county, and of the payment by county warrants or otherwise by the county commissioners of Douglas county of one half of the cost of the construction of said bridge or bridges to the persons therein named. of commis SEC. 5.
