Mr. Ivins was a strawberry and apple specialist, and has produced many seedlings which are now on trial. Forestry is receiving more attention than formerly. I hope the society will continue to receive the kindly encouragement and support of the Executive and of the Legislature in its efforts to conserve and develop the natural resources of the state.
