I. xxxiii. 16. He fhall dwell on high; his place of defence fhall be the munition of rocks. I. xliii. 2. My people fhall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in fure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. VII. DIRECTION. Pf. xxxvii. 23. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD; and he delighteth in his way. P. xlviii. 14. He will be our guide, even unto death. P. lxxiii. 24. Thou shalt guide me with thy counfel, and afterward receive me to glory. Prov. iii. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Prov. xi. 5. direct his way. The righteoufnefs of the perfect fhall Prov. xvi. 9. A man's heart devifeth his way, but the LORD directeth his fteps. If. xxviii. 26. His GOD doth instruct him to dif cretion, and doth teach him. If. xlii. 16. And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not, I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things ftraight. Thefe things will I do unto them, and not forfake them. VIII. HONOUR. Deut. xxviii. 13. And the LORD fhall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou fhalt be above only, and thou fhalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to obferve and to do them. Pf. cxii. 6. Surely he shall not be moved for ever! The righteous fhall be in everlasting remembrance. Ver. 9. His horn fhall be exalted with honour. Them that honour me, I will ho I Sam. ii. 30. nour. Prov. xxii. 4. By humility and the fear of the LORD, are riches, and honour, and life. Prov. iii 16. In her left hand are riches and honour. Prov. iv. 8. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee; fhe fhall bring thee to honour, when thou doft embrace her. Prov. x. 7. The memory of the just is blessed. Prov. xiv. 19. The evil bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. P. xci. 14. Because he hath fet his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will fet him on high, because he hath known my name. Ver. 15. SUCCESS and PROSPERITY. Pf. i. 3. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him, and he fhall bring it to pass. Pf. cxxviii. 2. Thou fhalt eat the labour of thine hands Happy fhalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Pf. lvii. 2. I will cry unto GOD most high; unto GOD, that performeth all things for me. If. lxv. 21. And they fhall build houses, and inhabit them; and they fhall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. Ver. 22. They fhall not build, and another inhabit; they fhall not plant, and another eat: For as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect fhall long enjoy the work of their hands. Ver. 23. They fhall not labour in vain, nor bring forth forth for trouble. For they are the feed of the bleffed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. Job xi. 15. I will give you the rain of your land in his due feafon, the first rain and the latter rain; that thou mayeft gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. Ver. 15. And I will fend grafs in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. " Deut. xxviii. 12. The LORD fhall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to blefs all the work of thine hand; and thou fhalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. Deut. xxx. 9. And the LORD thy GOD will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land for good; for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers, Deut. xxviii. 11. XI. Of CHILdren. Deut. vii. 13. He will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: He will alfo blefs the fruit of thy womb. Deut. xxx. 9. And the LORD thy GOD will make thee plenteous-in the fruit of thy body. Job v. 25. Thou fhalt know that thy feed fhall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. Pf. cxxvii. 3. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Ver. 4. As arrows in the hands of a mighty man, fo are children of the youth. Ver. 5. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be afhamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Pf. cxvi. 14. The LORD fhall increase you more and more, you and your children. XII. A BLESSING upon all a good Man has. Ex. xxiii. 25.
