EASTERN DISTRICT OF PENNSYLVANIA, TO WIT:

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the thirteenth day of February, in the L. S. fiftieth year of the Independence of the United States of America, A. D. 1826, JOSEPH J. WOODWARD, of the said District, hath deposited in this office the title of a book, the right whereof he claims as Proprietor, in the words following, to wit:

"A Theological Dictionary, containing definitions of all religious terms: a comprehen"sive view of every article in the system of Divinity: an impartial account of all "the principal denominations which have subsisted in the religious world, from the "birth of Christ to the present day: together with an accurate statement of the "most remarkable transactions and events recorded in ecclesiastical history.-By "the late Rev. CHARLES BUCK. Two volumes in one. Woodward's enlarged and "improved American, from the last London dition; to which is added, an account "of the Cumberland Presbyterians, and ar Appendix, containing an account of the "Methodist Episcopal church in the Unite. States, &c."

In conformity to the act of the Congress of the United States, entitled, " An aet for the encouragement of learning, by securing the copies of maps, charts, and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies during the times therein mentioned;" and also to the act, entitled, "An act supplementary to an act, entitled 'an act for the encouragement of learning, by securing the copies of maps, charts, and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies during the times therein mentioned;' and extending the benefits thereof to the arts of designing, engraving, and etching historical and other prints."
