"God through all, and in you all."
1 GOD of the earth, the sky, the sea;
Maker of all above, below,
Creation lives and moves in thee;
Thy present life through all doth flow.

2 Thee in the lonely woods we meet,
On the bare hills or cultured plains,
In
every flower beneath our feet,
And even the still rock's mossy stains.

3 Thy love is in the sunshine's glow,
Thy life is in the quickening air:
When lightnings flash and storm-winds
blow,

There is thy power; thy law is there.

4 We feel thy calm at evening's hour,

Thy grandeur in the march of night; And, when the morning breaks in power, We hear thy word, "Let there be light."

5 But higher far, and far more clear,

Thee in man's spirit we behold;
Thine image and thyself are there, -
The indwelling God, proclaimed of old.

1 YES, God is good: in earth and sky, From ocean-depths and spreading wood, Ten thousand voices seem to cry, "God made us all, and God is good."

2 The sun that keeps his trackless way,
And downward pours his golden flood,
Night's sparkling hosts, all seem to say,
In accents clear, that God is good.

3 I hear it in the rushing breeze:
The hills that have for ages stood,
The echoing sky and roaring seas,
All swell the chorus, "God is good."

4 Yes, God is good, all nature says,
By God's own hand with speech endued,
And man, in louder notes of praise,
Should sing for joy that God is good."

5 For all thy gifts we bless thee, Lord; But chiefly for our heavenly food, Thy pardoning grace, thy quickening word:
