AN ACT Making it a felony for any person, either directly or indirectly, to give, sell, or place in possession of, or attempt to give, sell or place in
possession of any convict, prisoner or inmate of any penitentiary, reform- atory, jail or asylum in this state, or to give, sell or place in possession of, or attempt to give, sell or place in possession of any officer, employe or other person in or about such penitentiary, reformatory, jail or asylum for the purpose of being given, sold or placed in possession of such convict, prisoner or inmate by such officer, employe or other person any cocaine, morphine, opium or any compound or derivative thereof, or any intoxicating liquors, except upon the direct prescription of a regularly licensed and reputable physician and with the consent of the authorities of such penitentiary, reformatory, jail or asylum, or any firearms, explosives or weapons of any kind, or to aid or assist in pro- curing the same to be done, and providing a penalty therefor and to repeal all acts or parts of acts in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency. ..103
