Some Communion Hymns. 1. GOD, unseen yet ever near, Thy presence may we feel; And, thus inspired with holy fear, Before Thine Altar kneel. Here may Thy faithful people know The blessings of Thy love, The streams that through the desert flow, We come, obedient to Thy Word, Our drink His precious Blood. Thus may we all Thy Word obey, And go rejoicing on our way, Renewed with strength Divine. Amen 2. I AM not worthy, Holy Lord, That Thou should'st come to me: Speak but the Word; one gracious Word Can set the sinner free. I am not worthy; cold and bare The lodging of my soul; How canst Thou deign to enter there? Lord speak and make me whole. 1 am not worthy; yet, my God, How can I say Thee nay? Thee, who didst give Thy Flesh and Blood O come! in this sweet morning hour And fill with all Thy love and power This worthless heart of mine. Amen.
