Men's hearts, to Whom alone
Their ev'ry wish, their least desire,
Their fiercest passions known;
From Whom are hid no secrets, good
Or ill; cleanse Thou the thoughts
That teem within our hearts, and all
That Love and Mercy thwarts;

Cleanse, by the inspiration of
Thy Holy Spirit, Lord,

That we may love Thee perfectly,

Thee, by the Saints adored;
And worthily Thy Holy Name
With them may magnify,

THANK Thee, O heavenly Father, for the rest of the past night, and for the blessings of friends, food, health and strength which Thou givest me

this morning; and most of all, for the gift of Thy dear Son who died for me. Help me to remember throughout the day that Thou, God, seest me. Take away my sinful temper, make me truthful and honest, and help me to grow day by day more like Thy Holy Child Jesus.
