FISHING CROSBYVILLE STREAM-FISHING LITTLE PUSHAW POND.

Chapter 32.

An Act to regulate fishing in Crosbyville Stream, so-called, in the towns of Avon, Phillips, Freeman and Strong, in the County of Franklin.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows:

Section 1. For a period of five years from July fifteenth, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, it shall be unlawful to fish for, take, catch or kill any kind of fish at any time in Crosbyville stream, so-called, situated in the towns of Avon, Phillips, Freeman and Strong, in the county of Franklin. It shall also be unlawful for any person to have in possession at any time any kind of fish taken in violation of any provision of this section.

Section 2. Chapter 33.

An Act to regulate fishing in Little Pushaw Pond, so-called, in the town of Hudson, County of Penobscot.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows: Section I. It shall be unlawful to fish for, take, catch or kill any kind of fish at any time, for a period of two years from the time this act takes effect, in Little Pushaw pond, so-called, in the town of Hudson, county of Penobscot. It shall also be unlawful to have in possession any kind of fish taken in violation of this section.

Chapter 34.

An Act to amend and extend the charter of the Baker and Spencer Brook
Dam and Improvement Company.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows:

Section 1. The charter of the Baker and Spencer Brook amended and Dam and Improvement Company, granted by chapter two hundred and fifty of the private and special laws of one thousand nine hundred and seven and extended by chapter nineteen of said laws for the year one thousand nine hundred and nine, is hereby extended for two years from the date when this act takes effect.

Section 2. Said charter is amended by striking therefrom, as incorporator, the name of George L. Smith, deceased, and inserting in place thereof the name of Forrest H. Colby.

Chapter 35.

An Act to authorize the construction of a weir in tide waters of Passamaquoddy Bay in the town of Perry.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows:

James H. Malloch of Eastport in the county of Washington, is hereby authorized to build and maintain a weir for fishing purposes in the tide waters of Passamaquoddy bay in front of Pleasant point, so-called, in the town of Perry, the southerly end of said weir to be four hundred yards from low water mark in cove formed by the north-west point of Carlow's island, the mouth of said weir to be three hundred yards from low water mark on the shore of Pleasant point, the body of said weir to be five hundred yards from low water mark on the Perry shore lying westerly of Pleasant point, the northerly end of said weir to be four hundred yards from O. Walton's weir on Perry shore; providing that said weir does not interfere with navigation or the rights of shore owners.

Chapter 36.

An Act to provide for the trapping of bob cats, loupcervier and Canada lynx in the townships known as Letter A and Leavitt, in the County of Aroostook, without a trapping license, during open season on mink, sable, muskrat and fisher.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows:

Section 1. During the open season now provided by law on Trapping of mink, sable, muskrat and fisher, it shall be lawful for citizens loupcervier of this state to hunt and trap bob cats, loupcervier or Canada lynx without lynx, without first procuring a trapping license of the commissioners of inland fisheries and game, in the unincorporated places known as Letter A and Leavitt, in the county of Aroostook.

Chapter 37.

An Act to extend the Charter of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows: The rights, powers and privileges of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company which were granted by chapter five hundred and thirty-four of the private and special laws for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, and extended by chapter seventy-one of the private and special laws of eighteen hundred and ninety-nine and again extended by chapter two hundred and ninety of the private and special laws of nineteen hundred and one and again extended by chapter ninety-two of the private and special laws of nineteen hundred and three and again extended by chapter three hundred and nineteen of the private and special laws of nineteen hundred and five and again extended by chapter one hundred and eleven of the private and special laws of nineteen hundred and seven and again extended by chapter sixty-one of the private and special laws of nineteen hundred and nine, are hereby further extended for two years from the going into effect of this act, and the persons named in said act, their associates and successors, shall have the rights, powers and privileges that were granted to them by said act to be exercised by them for the same purposes as specified in said act.

Close time for trout fishing in Alder brook and Dyer brook.

Chapter 38.

An Act to prohibit trout fishing in Alder brook, so-called, in the towns of Island Falls and Hersey, and in Dyer Brook, so-called, in the towns of Island Falls and Dyer Brook, and in Merrill Plantation, in Aroostook County.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows:

Section 1. It shall be unlawful to fish for, take, catch or kill any trout at any time in Alder brook, so-called, in the towns of Island Falls and Hersey, in the county of Aroostook, or in Dyer brook, so-called, in the towns of Island Falls and Dyer Brook and in Merrill Plantation, in said county of Aroostook, for a period of four years from the time this act takes effect. It shall also be unlawful for any person to have in possession in possession. any trout taken in violation of this section.

An Act ratifying and confirming the sale of the railroad and franchises of the Atlantic Shore Line Railway and the incorporation of the Atlantic Shore Railway.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine, as follows: Section 1. The sale of the railroad and franchises of the Atlantic Shore Line Railway at a public sale held December ratified, con- first, one thousand nine hundred and ten, under a decree of the United States circuit court for the first circuit district of Maine in a cause pending therein, entitled "Knickerbocker Trust Company, Trustee, vs. Atlantic Shore Line Railway and Fidelity Trust Company, Trustee," to John F. Hill, Ernest J. Eddy, Frederick O. Conant, E. Burton Hart, Albert H. Bickmore, William Binney, Jr., James H. Caldwell and Francis Henderson as the highest bidders therefor, and the decree of said court in the above entitled cause filed therein on the twelfth day of

December, one thousand nine hundred and ten, confirming said sale, and the deed of the special master, John F. A. Merrill, appointed by said court to conduct said sale, and the deeds of said Knickerbocker Trust Company as trustee, of said Atlantic Shore Line Railway and of said Fidelity Trust Company as trustee, all said deeds bearing date of December thirtieth, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and all other acts and decrees of said circuit court in said cause, and the incorporation of the Atlantic Shore Railway as a street railroad corporation, with a capital stock of one million dollars, under section fifty-six of chapter fifty-two of the revised statutes of the State of Maine, by said John F. Hill, Ernest J. Eddy, Frederick O. Conant, E. Burton Hart, Albert H. Bickmore, William Binney, Jr., James H. Caldwell and Francis Henderson, the purchasers of said railroad and franchises of said Atlantic Shore Line Railway as aforesaid, are hereby ratified, confirmed and made legal and valid in all particulars; and certain bonds of said Atlantic Shore Railway bearing date of December thirty-first, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and known as General Lien Gold Bonds, authorized amount to be issued, one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, and also certain other bonds of said Atlantic Shore Railway bearing date of certain December thirty-first, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and confirmed known as Refunding Mortgage Gold Bonds, authorized amount to be issued, two million, six hundred thousand dollars, and the respective mortgage deeds of trust executed by said Atlantic Shore Railway on said thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and ten, to secure said bonds, are hereby ratified, confirmed and made legal and valid, and said bonds are hereby declared to be, when issued in accordance with the provisions of said mortgage deeds of trust securing the same, the valid, legal, binding obligations of said Atlantic Shore. Railway.

Section 2. The said Atlantic Shore Railway shall henceforth have, exercise and enjoy all the rights, powers, privileges and franchises formerly belonging to the said Atlantic Shore Line Railway on the first day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten, and granted to it under the general laws of the state of Maine, and chapter one hundred and seventy-five of the private and special laws of the state of Maine approved March thirteen, one thousand nine hundred. and three; chapter two hundred and forty-one of the private and special laws of the state of Maine approved March seventeen, one thousand nine hundred and five; chapter three hundred and three of the private and special laws of the state of Maine
