Upon motion of Senator Bosshard the calling of the roll was dispensed with.

The journal of Friday, February 26, was approved.

RESOLUTIONS INTRODUCED

Res. No. 8, S.,

Relating to additional rooms for the senate.

Resolved by the senate, That the superintendent of public property be and he hereby is instructed to vacate the rooms now occupied by his department on the second floor, south wing of the capitol, and forthwith make such rooms available for the use of the senate.

Directing the superintendent of public property to furnish additional elevator service and to keep the capitol open until midnight.

Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the superintendent of public property be and he is hereby

directed to keep the main ground floor doors of the east,
west and south wings of the capitol open for ingress and
egress until twelve o'clock midnight and that he continue
the regular elevator service in the south and west wings until
eleven o'clock, p. m. during the remainder of the session.
