No. 60 S., A bill to provide for the punishment of persons convicted of larceny, and to repeal Sections 15 and 16 of Chap. 134 of the Revised Statutes.

No. 61 S., A bill to amend Chap. 221 of the session laws of 1850.

Mr. Wakeley introduced the following resolution:

Resolved, By the Senate, the Assembly concurring, that four hundred copies of the Report of the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin, be printed for the use of the Senate, and six hundred copies be printed for the use of the Assembly.

Mr. Wakeley moved that the rules be suspended and that said resolution be considered now,

Which was agreed to.

The said resolution was then adopted.

Mr. Reed presented the accounts against the State of Geo. Memhard, C. S. Abbotts, N. S. Emmons, A. F. Spafford, Turton & Sercomb, and Wright & Tenney,

Which were referred to the committee on legislative expenditures.

Mr. Wakeley, from the committee on Judiciary, to whom had been referred,

No. 28 S., A bill to authorize the Racine and Raymond Plank Road Company to re-locate the route of its road or some parts thereof.

Reported the same back to the Senate without amendment and recommended its passage.

Mr. Sterling, from the committee on Roads and Bridges, made the following report:

The committee on Roads and Bridges to whom was referred bill No. 58 S., A bill granting to Timothy Fanning the right to keep and maintain a ferry across the Mississippi River, have had the same under consideration, and instructed me, their chairman, to report the same back to the Senate without amendment, and recommend its passage.

No. 20 A., A bill to authorize the Trustees of the village of Waukesha to raise money by tax.

Mr. Vittum submitted the following report:

The select committee to whom was referred the preamble and resolution upon the subject of rescinding the instructions to our Senators and Representatives in Congress, contained in the resolutions of 1849, have had the same under consideration, and direct me to report them back to the Senate, and recommend their pas sage.

No. 36 A., A bill to vacate a part of Water and Fifteenth street, in the village of Manitowoc,

Was read a third time, passed, and the title thereof agreed to. No. 10 S., A bill to authorize the city of Racine, to aid in the construction of certain railroads.

On motion of Mr. Cary, was ordered to be engrossed and read the third time.

No. 9 S., A bill to amend an act entitled "An act to consolidate and amend the act to incorporate the city of Milwaukee, and the several acts amendatory thereof," approved Feb. 20th, 1852

On motion of Mr. Reed, was referred to a select committee consisting of the Senators from Milwaukee county.

No. 16 S., A bill to extend the time for the collection of taxes in the city of Milwaukee,

On motion of Mr. Reed, was laid on the table.

No. 12 S., A bill in relation to mills and mill dams,

On motion of Mr. Alban, was referred to committee on Judici ary, with instructions to report on Monday.

No. 3 (S), A bill to authorize the Racine, Janesville and Misissippi Railroad Company to build their Railroad in divisions, and to connect with certain other Railroads, and

No. 36 S., A bill to incorporate the Plymouth and Charleston Plank Road Company.
