No. 3 S., a bill to authorize the Racine, Janesville and Mississippi Railroad Company to build their Railroad in divisions, and to connect with certain other Railroads. No. 10 S., a bill to authorize the city of Racine to aid in the construction of certain Railroads. No. 19 S., a bill to amend an act entitled "an act to incorporate the Mineral Point Railroad Company," approved April 17, 1852. Mr. Alban in the Chair, And after some time spent therein, The committee arose and reported back to the Senate said bill No. 3 S., with amendment, and recommended the reference thereof to a select committee of three. Also, said bill No. 10 S., without amendment. And said bill No. 19 S., and recommended its reference to committee on Incorporations. Clark and 25 others, citizens and merchants of Janesville, Rock Co., against the proposition to change the location of the Beloit and Madison Rail Road from Janesville to any other point. Also, Remonstrance of J. A. Nehrig and 13 others upon the same subject. Also, Remonstrance of Charles Holt, Wm. Truesdell and 32 others upon the same subject. The following resolution, introduced yesterday by Mr. Hunter, was then taken up: Resolved, That the Chief Clerk be authorized to procure 100 copies of the township map of Wisconsin, by J. W. Hunt, for the use of the Senate, at a cost not exceeding 25 cts. per copy. Mr. Blair moved to amend the resolution by striking out 100 and inserting 200, Which was decided in the affirmative. And the ayes and noes having been called for, Those who voted in the affirmative were Messrs.
