Reported the same back to the Senate with the following amend

ments:

Amend by striking out of Section 1, the words "Office of said Register" is located in lines 13 and 14, and inserting the words "land lies,"

Also by striking out in Section 5, 4th line, the word "and" and inserting the word “or."

Also by inserting a new section between sections six and seven as the sections are now numbered as follows:

"The cases provided for in this act may be removed to the Supreme Court by appeal or writ of error as in other cases, and the said Court shall on the hearing of any such cause by order affirm or reverse the order of the court below"

Also amend section seven by inserting the words "either of" between the words "in" and "the" in the second line, also by striking out the word "said" in the 4th line, and inserting the word "proper," also by striking out the word "section" and inserting the word "sections " in the 3d line.

Mr. Lewis moved that the rules be suspended for the consideration of the report and the bill now.

Which was agreed to.

The report of the committee was then adopted, and the bill as amended was then ordered to be engrossed and read a third time. No. 2 (S), was read a third time,
