In which the concurrence of the Senate is requested.

I am also directed to present for your signature

An act to amend an act entitled an act to consolidate and amend the act to incorporate the city of Milwaukee, and the several acts amendatory thereto, approved February 20, 1852.

An act to revise, renew and amend an act entitled "an act to provide for a special tax for the improvement of the Manitowoc and Calumet road, approved, April 17, 1852.

An act to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the village of Manitowoc in the county of Manitowoc.

An act to appropriate to David McKee the sum therein named. An act to appropriate to Beriah Brown and Beriah & John A. Brown the sums therein named.

An act authorizing the construction of a free bridge across Milwaukee river on or near the town line between the towns of Grafton and Mequon in the county of Washington, and

Joint Resolution for the relief of persons therein named. Which have been signed by the speaker of the Assembly. Said bills Nos. 112, 157, 97 and 51 A., were read the first and second times.

The following bills were read the third time, passed and the titles thereof agreed to,

No. 108 A., A bill to provide for the removal of the county seat of Manitowoc county.

No. 89 S., A bill to incorporate the State Historical Society of Wis.

The following bill, A bill to apropriate to Albert C. Ingham the sum therein named, was read a third time,

And the question shall this bill pass

Having been put, (three fifths of all the Senators being present,) I was decided in the affermative.

And the ayes and noes being required,

Those who voted in the affirmative were.

Messrs. Bashford, Briggs, Cary, Dunn, Lewis, McLane, Miller, Pinkney, Prentice, Reed, Smith, Squires, Stewart, Sterling, Wakeley and Whittlesey.-16.

None voted in the negative.

And the title of said bill was then agreed to.

No. 149 A, a bill appropriating to Curtis Beech the sum therein named,

Was read the third time.

And the question "Shall this bill pass?"

Having been put, (three-fifths of all the Senators being present,) It was decided in the affirmative.

And the ayes and noes being required,

Those who voted in the affirmative were,

Messrs. Bashford, Briggs, Cary, Dunn, Lewis, McLane, Miller, Pinkney, Prentice, Reed, Smith, Squires, Stewart, Sterling, Wakeley and Whittlesey.-16.

No. 113 A, a bill appropriating to H. H. Brennan the sum therein named.

Having been put, (three-fifths of all the Senators being present,) It was decided in the affirmative,

The committee on Enrolled Bills have presented to the Governor for his approval, the following acts, viz:

An act to revive, renew and amend an act entitled "an act to provide for a special tax for the improvement of the Manitowoc and Calumet Road," approved April 17, 1852.

An act to amend an act entitled "an act to consolidate and amend the act to incorporate the city of Milyaukee, and the several acts amendatory thereof," approved February 20, 1852.

An act to amend an act entitled " an act to incorporate the village of Manitowoc, in the county of Manitowoc.

An act to appropriate to David McKee the sum therein named. An act authorizing the construction of a free bridge across the Milwaukee river, on or near the town line between the towns of Grafton and Mequon, in the county of Washington.
