On motion of Mr. Smith,

No. 108 A., A bill to provide for the removal of the county seat of Manitowoc county.

Was taken from the general file and referred to the Committee on Town and County Organization.

Mr. Smith presented several remonstrances upon the same subject, which were reported to the same Committee.

In Committee of the Whole, for the consideration of

No. 103 S., A bill to provide for the traveling expenses of the State Superintendent.

No. 71 8., A bill to appropriate to George Memhard, the sum therein named.

M. No. 6 A., A memorial to the Postmaster General, for increase mail route No. 4616.

And after some time spent therein,

The Committee arose, and by its Chairman reported back to the Senate, all of said bills.

And said bills were severally ordered to be engrossed, and read the third time.

No. 103 A., A bill to incorporate the Kenosha and Beloit Railroad Company.

No. 74 A., A bill to provide for contesting elections of members of the Senate and Assembly.

No. 109 A., A bill to amend an act entitled "an act to incorporate the village of Manitouwoc, in the county of Manitouwoc. Mr. Wakeley in the Chair,

No. 128 A., A bill to extend the time for the collection of taxes in the towns of New Buffalo, Dellond and Reedsburgh, in the county of Sauk.

The Committe on Enrolled bills have presented to the Governor for his approval, the following acts:

An act to incorporate the Menomonee Locomotive Manufacturing Company.

An act to authorize the city of Racine to aid in the construction of certain rail roads.

An act to authorize the town of Beloit to aid in the construction of a certain rail road from the city of Racine to the village of Beloit.

An act to repeal an act entitled an act in reference to Justices Courts, approved, April 16, 1852.

An act to establish a ferry across Chippewa river.

An act authorizing the county of Brown to issue bonds for the purpose therein named.

An act to repeal an act establishing the town of Kossuth, approved April 17, 1852.

An act to amend an act entitled "an act to incorporate the Winnebago Lake and Fox river road company.

An act to incorporate the Hubbardton Manufacturing Company. An act to appropriate to Emory Healey the sum therein named. An act to fix the time for holding the February term of the circuit court of Milwaukee county.

No. 82 A., A bill to incorporate the Watertown and Berlin rail road Company, and has passed

No. 33 A., A bill to incorporate the Fox River Valley railroad Company and

No. 69 A., A bill to authorize certain towns to subscribe stock in the the Sheboygan and Maysville Plank Road Company. In which the concurrence of the Senate is requested. I am also directed to present for your signature

An act to incorporate the Hubbardton Manufacturing company. An act to amend an act entitled an act to incorporate the Winnebago Lake and Fox River road Company.

An act to repeal an act establishing the town of Kossuth, approved April 17, 1852.
