Reported the same back to the Senate, and recommended that Section 8 be amended by inserting after the word “ mortgage" in the 11th line of the written bill, the words “with the consent of a majority of the Stockholders voting at any duly called meeting thereof."

Were severally read the first and second times.
And the amendment of the Assembly to

No. 18 S., a bill to authorize the Secretary of State to andit certain accounts, and to provide for the payment thereof,

Was concurred in.

No. 2 A., a memorial to Congress for å mail route,
Also,

No. 28 S., a bill to authorize the Racine and Raymond Plank Road Company to re-locate the route of its road or some part there of,

And

No. 52 A., a bill appropriating to E. B. Quiner the sum therein named.

Were severally read the third time, passed, and their titles agreed to.

And the ayes and noes being required upon the passage of said bill No. 52 A.,

Those who voted in the affirmative were,

Messrs. Alban, Bashford, Blair, Bovee, Bowen, Briggs, Cary, Dunn, Hunter Lewis, Miller, Pinkney,Reed, Sharpstein, Vittum, Wakeley, Whittlesey and Wiel.-18.

No. 55 A., a bill to organize the County of Shauanau,
Was read the third time,

And on motion of Mr. Wakeley, said bill was reconnitted to the committee on Town and County organization.

No. 44 S., a bill to appropriate to S. M. Booth the sum therein named,

Was read the third time,

And, on motion of Mr. Carey, said bill was recommitted to the committee on Printing.

No. 64 A., a bill to amend an act entitled “ an act to incorporate the Winnebago Lake and Fox River Road Company,” and

No. 54 A., a bill to organize the county of Waupaca for judicial purposes,

Were severally ordered to be read a third time.

Mr. Bovee, from the committee on Town and County organization, on leave granted, submitted the following report:

The committee on Town and County organization, to whom was referred the petition of Peter Koning and others, praying for the repeal of the act establishing the town of Kossuth ; also, bill No. 79 A., to repeal an act establishing the town of Kossuth, approved April 17th, 1852, have had the same consideration, and would respectfully submit,

That your committee believe that the act establishing the town of Kossuth did not properly reflect the wishes of the people of said town; that said act was hastily passed and without the knowledge of many of its inhabitants. Your committee would therefore report said bill back to the Senate with the recommendation that the same do pass.

An act to amend an act entitled “an act to incorporate the village of Waukesha in the County of Waukesha.”

Memorial to the Post Office Department, relative to the increase of Mail service on Mail Route No. 4575,

No. 73 S., a bill to extend the time for the collection of taxes in
the town of Dane, County of Dane,
