CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT to amend Section 277 of the Consolidated Statutes of Ne-
braska for 1891, and to repeal said original section.

Be it Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Nebraska:

1, chap. 7, Stats..

SECTION 1. That section one, chapter 7, of the Amending sec Compiled Statutes of Nebraska, entitled "Attor-1891; sec. 277. neys" be and the same is hereby amended so as to 1891. read as follows, to-wit:

"No person shall be admitted to practice as an Admission of attorney in the supreme and district courts of this state hereafter, unless such person shall have previously studied in the office of a practicing attorney, for the period of two years, and shall pass a satisfactory examination upon the principles of the common law, under the directions of the court to which application is made, or is a regular graduate from the College of Law of the State University of Nebraska, and it is shown to the satisfaction of said court, that such applicant sustains a good moral character."

SEC. 2. That section No. 277 of the Consol- Repealing clause, idated Statutes of Nebraska is hereby repealed, Approved March 30, A. D. 1893,
