SEC. 2. AN ACT to provide for the payment of the salaries of the officers of the State Government, Hospital for the Insane at Lincoln, Hospital for the Insane at Norfolk, Asylum for the Insane at Hastings, Institute for the Blind, Deaf and Dumb, Reform School at Kearney, Reform School at Geneva, Normal School at Peru, Home for the Friendless, Institute for the Feeble Minded, State University, Railroad Commission, Fish Commission, Industrial Home and Soldiers' and Sailors' Home.

Be it Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Nebraska:

SECTION 1. That the following sums of money, salaries of offi- or so much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of the salaries of the officers of the State Government, Hospital for the Insane at Lincoln, Hospital for the Insane at Norfolk, Asylum for the Insane at Hastings, Institute for the Blind, Deaf and Dumb, Industrial School at Kearney, Industrial School at Geneva, Normal School at Peru, Home for the Friendless, Institute for the Feeble Minded, State University, Railroad Commission, Fish Commission, Industrial Home, and Soldiers' and Sailors' home, for the years ending March 31, 1894, and 1895.

GOVERNOR.

Salary per year, twenty-five hundred ($2,500) dollars; five thousand ($5,000) dollars.

Salary of private secretary, two thousand ($2,000) dollars; four thousand dollars ($4,000).

Salary of stenographer, twelve hundred ($1,200) dollars; twenty-four hundred ($2,400) dollars.

Salary of clerk, one thousand ($1,000) dollars; two thousand ($2,000) dollars.

Salary of record clerk, one thousand ($1,000) · dollars; two thousand ($2,000) dollars.

ADJUTANT GENERAL.

Salary per year, one thousand ($1,000) dollars; two thousand ($2,000) dollars.

COMMISSIONER OF LABOR.

Salary of deputy, fifteen hundred ($1,500) dollars; three thousand ($3,000) dollars.

For clerk to deputy commissioner of labor, one thousand ($1,000) dollars; two thousand ($2,000) dollars.

SECRETARY OF STATE.

Salary, two thousand ($2,000) dollars; four thousand ($4,000) dollars.

Salary of deputy, fifteen hundred ($1,500) dollars; three thousand ($3,000) dollars.

Salary of bookkeeper, twelve hundred (1,200) dollars; twenty-four hundred ($2,400) dollars.

Salary of recorder, one thousand two hundred ($1,200) dollars; two thousand four hundred ($2,400 dollars.

AUDITOR OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS.

Salary of two accountants for examining county treasurers' offices, three thousand ($3,000) dollars; six thousand ($6,000) dollars.

Salary of bookkeeper, twelve hundred (1,200) dollars; twenty four hundred ($2,400) dollars. Salary of insurance clerk, one thousand ($1,000) dollars; two thousand ($2,000) dollars.

Salary of draftsman, fifteen hundred ($1,500) dollars; three thousand ($3,000) dollars.

Salary of two bookkeepers, twenty-six hundred ($2,600) dollars; fifty-two hundred ($5,200) dollars.

Salary of five clerks, five thousand ($5,000) dollars; ten thousand ($10,000) dollars.

DISTRICT COURT.

Salary of twenty-eight judges, seventy thousand ($70,000) dollars; one hundred and forty thousand ($140,000) dollars.
