4. For thro' thy wond'rous works, O Lord, Thou mak'ft my heart rejoice;
The thoughts of them fhall make me glad, And fhout with chearful voice.
WITH glory clad, with ftrength array'd,
The Lord, that o'er all nature reigns, The world's foundation strongly laid, And the vaft fabric ftill fuftains.
2. How furely 'ftablish'd is thy throne, Which shall no change or period fee; For thou, O Lord, and thou alone, Art God from all eternity.
3. The floods, O Lord, lift up their voice, And tofs the troubled waves on high; But God above can still their noife, And make the angry lea comply.
4. Thy promife, Lord, is ever fure; And they that in thy houfe would dwell, That
That happy ftation to fecure, Muft till in holiness excel.
LESS'D is the man, whom thou, O Lord,
In kindness do'st chastise,
And by thy facred rules to walk Do'ft lovingly advise.
2. This man fhall reft and fafety find In feafons of distress;
Whilft God prepares a pit for those Who ftubbornly tranfgrefs..
3. For God will never from his faints. His favour wholly take; His own poff ffion and his lot, He will not quite forfake.
4. The world fhall then confefs thee juft In all that thou haft done;
And those who chufe thy upright ways, Shall in thofe paths go on..
Come, loud anthems let us fing, Loud thanks to our Almighty King; For we our voices high fhould raise, When our falvation's rock we praise. 2. Into his prefence let us hafte, To thank him for his favours paft; To him address, in joyful fongs, The praise that to his name belongs.
3. For God the Lord, enthron'd in state, Is, with unrivall'd glory, great ; A King fuperior far to all Whom by his title God we call.
4. O let us to his courts repair, And bow with adoration there : Down on our knees devoutly all Before the Lord our Maker fall.
ING to the Lord a new-made fong, Let earth in one affembled throng, Her common patron's praise refound:
Sing to the Lord, and blefs his name, From day to day his praife proclaim,
Who us hath with falvation crown'd: To heathen lands his fame rehearse, His wonders to the univerfe. 2. Proclaim aloud, Jehovah reigns, Whose power the universe fuftains, And banish'd juftice will reftore: Let therefore heav'n new joys confefs, And heav'nly mirth let earth exprefs, Its loud applause the ocean roar : Its mute inhabitants rejoice, And for his triumph find a voice.
3. For joy let fertile valleys fing, The chearful groves, their tribute bring, The tuneful choir of birds awake: The Lord's approach to celebrate, Who now fets out with awful state,
His circuit thro' the earth to take: From heav'n to judge the world he's come, With juftice to reward and doom.
PSALM 96. O. V.
SING ye with praife unto the Lord New fongs with joy and mirth;
Sing unto him with one accord, All people on the earth.
2. Yea, fing unto the Lord alway, Praife ve his holy name: ye
Declare and fhew from day to day Salvation by the fame.
3. Among the people all declare His honour round about; To fhew his wonders do not fpare In all the world throughout.
4. For why? the Lord is much of might, And worthy of all praife; And he is to be dread of right, Above all gods always.
EHOVAH reigns. Let all the earth In his just government rejoice;
