SUSBCRIBERS paying 10l. 10s. the Year-61. 68. the Half Year-or 31. 138. 6d. the Quarter, are allowed 15 Volumes in Town, and 30 in the Country; the immediate perusal of all new Works; to have purchased for them any Publication of general Interest, not previously added to the Library; and are entitled to the use of the ILLUSTRATIVE LIBRARY, containing a splendid Collection of Picturesque and Architectural Views, Maps, &c. as described in a separate Catalogue.

Subscribers paying 51. 58, the Year-31. 38. the Half Year-or 17. 168. the Quarter, are allowed 12 Volumes in Town, and 24 in the Country; and are entitled to any two of the new Works in the Library.

Subscribers paying 41. 48. the Year-21. 12s. 6d. the Half Year-or 17. 118. 6d. the Quarter, are entitled to 8 Volumes in Town, and 16 in the Country, including two New Publications in the Octavo and Duodecimo Sizes.

Each Quarto Volume to be reckoned as Two.

Books sent to Subscribers to all parts of the United Kingdom or the Continent, and in any quantity, by paying a proportionate Subscription. Subscribers have the Liberty of choosing any Books from the Library, as described in the Catalogues, but (except of the first Class) are not allowed to retain in their Possession more than two of the newest Works at one Time.

CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS,

To which all Subscribers are bound to accede.

1. The Subscription, &c. to be paid at the time of Subscribing, and at the Commencement of every subsequent Term, and a Deposit made, if required. 2. The Expense of the Box or Bag, and Catalogues, Carriage to and from the Library, Packing, Postage, &c., to be defrayed by the Subscriber.

3. If a Subscriber (through any cause whatever) should detain a Book or Books beyond the Time subscribed for, the Subscription will continue open, and must be paid till such Books are returned.

4. If a Subscriber lends a Book to a Non-Subscriber, he forfeits his Subscription; neither is it allowable to transfer Books to other Subscribers. 5. If a Book be written in, torn, or damaged, whilst in the Possession of a Subscriber, that Book, or the Set (if part of one), to be paid for.

6. New Books are not allowed to be kept longer than One Week by Subscribers in Town, or a fortnight if in the Country; and Books from the Catalogue are expected to be exchanged once a Fortnight if in London, or once a Month in the Country; but it is most earnestly requested that they may, in all cases, be returned as soon as read, for the general Accommodation. Subscribers, however, are not allowed to exchange Books twice on the same Day.

The Library opens at Nine, and closes at Seven precisely.
