FRATERNAL REPROOF.

FRATERNAL REPROOF.

Why seest thou a mote in thy brother's eye, and seest not a beam in thy own eye? St. Matt. vii. 3.

Or how sayest thou to thy brother: Let me cast the mote out of thy eye; and behold a beam is in thy own eye? Ver. 4.

But if thy brother shall offend thee, go, and reprove him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother. St. Matt. xviii. 15.

Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink? Ver. 37.

And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in, or naked, and clothed thee? Ver. 38.
