ON THE

PROPHECIES OF DANIEL.

THE 24th chapter of St. Matthew's gospel,

from verse 3, to verse 15, inclusive, appears to be so closely connected with the subject which we have proposed to consider, that we have inserted them in the beginning, as the best possible introduction to a work of this nature; and before we proceed to the consideration of the prophecies of Daniel, we shall inake some comments on them,
