AN ACT

TO PROVIDE FOR THE PRINTING OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, THE ENABLING ACT, AND CONSTITU-, TION OF THE STATE, TOGETHER WITH ALL THE GENERAL LAWS OF THIS STATE, IN THE MOST CONVENIENT AND COMPACT FORM, TOGETHER WITH AN INDEX TO THE SAME.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

SECTION 1. That the secretary of state, as soon as practicable after the adjournment of the general assembly, shall prepare or cause to be prepared and printed, all the general laws passed by the general assembly, all general laws now in force and not repealed by this general assembly, the same to be arranged in a concise and compact form, so as to have all the law upon each subject arranged together under the same title as far as practicable; and that the said laws shall be divided by appropriate titles, with the date of approval printed at the end of each act passed by the first general assembly of the state, omitting the signature of the president of the senate and speaker of. the house of representatives; and where any law has been amended by striking out and substituting sections, or changing sections, the law shall be printed so it will read in its proper order as amended, and may be sectionized in regular order, without reference to the numbers of sections in the former print; and wherever the word "territory" or "territorial" occurring in the laws is made by the constitution, synonymous with the word "state" by intendment, the word "state" shall be printed instead of the word "territory" or "territorial;" and 50 of the word "probate" where the word "county" is made by the constitution to stand in its place: Provided, That the act entitled "an act providing a system of procedure in civil actions in the courts of justice of the state of Colorado," shall not be printed in a volume with the other laws, but shall be printed by itself in a separate volume with an appropriate index to the same.

B
