ERRATA.

Several errors have been noticed since the sheets of this volume were struck off. They were, however, chiefly typographical, and where they are otherwise, the reader can generally readily correct them by the context. One of the few errors that require notice here, is that within three lines of the close of page 278, where the word Southern" is wrongly printed, instead of "London."

"

The reference on page 255 should be to plate VI, not VII.

One of the plates numbered X, should be XII, being the second of the three plates representing "Organic Remains of the Niagara Group."

And on page 262, the reference should be to plate XV, not XIV, in third line from bottom.
