The classes are divided into two divisions, Upper and Lower. The first four classes read the subjects prescribed yearly by the Syndicate of the University of Calcutta for the First Arts and Entrance Examinations, in English, Latin, History and Geography, Mathematics, Logic and Chemistry, The course also includes Divinity, Botany, and Physics. "The Gogerly Scholarship," of the value of Rs. 120 a year, tenable for two years, is open to competition by all students of the College.
