RESOLUTIONS CONSIDERED.

Res. No. 1, S.,

Inviting the resident clergy to open the morning sessions of the senate with prayer,

Introduced by Senator Pratt, on the 18th, postponed,

Senator Woodman offered the following amendment :

"That the chief clerk be requested to open the morning sessions of the Senate by reading the Lord's prayer, in a clear and distinct voice."

A bill to repeal chapter 361, private and local laws of 1863, entitled "an act to authorize Eric Theodore Sely oth to maintain a ferry across Big Sturgeon Bay, in Doar county, and to grant to Henry Schuyler the right to establish and maintain a ferry across Big Sturgeon Bay, in Door county.

And has concurred with the senate in the passage of

A bill to authorize and direct the city clerk of Madison to add to the tax roll of 1870, certain special taxes and assessments, and to legalize the relevy of the same.

A bill to extend the time for the collection of taxes in the town of Westford and the east ward of the village of Randolph, in the county of Dodge, and to authorize the clerk of the board of said county to apportion taxes to said town and village.

And has concurred with the Senate in its amendment to
