Senator Strong moved to reconsider the vote by which the title to No. 10 A.,

Was amended yesterday, by substituting the word, manufacture" for the word, "fabrication," where it occurs.

The motion to re-consider prevailed,

And the motion to so amend the title to said bill was lost.

RESOLUTIONS CONSIDERED.

Providing Manuals for the members of the legislature,

Introduced yesterday by Senator Pettit,

Senator Pettit moved to amend, as follows:

Strike out the words "one copy of which for each member shall be bound in full morocco and lettered," and add to the resolution as follows:

"Resolved further, That the secretary of state be directed to cause one copy of such manual for each State officer and Senator and Assem lyman to be bound in full morocco and lettered.

Senator Huebschmann offered the following amendment to the amendment:

Amend by striking out "seven copies," and inserting "five copies." Amend further by inserting after the words "two houses" "and five additional copies to each senator for every ten thousand inhabitants he represents in addition to the first ten thousand, and for ever fraction over five thousand,"

Which was lost

Those voting in the negative were
