Lee Levine, PhD, is on the faculty of the Department of History and the Institute of Archeology of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is the author of numerous books on Jewish history, including Jerusalem (JPS) and has received over a dozen awards and has been a research fellow at Harvard University.
